Dun yaşamış olduğumuz gülünç olay ülkemizdeki hayvan refahı anlayışını çok iyi tarif ediyor!Türkiye’deki köpekler şansız oldukları gibi , bir de misyonları aslında onları korumak olması gereken, görüntüde kalabalık ama aslında hiçbir işe yaramayan çılgın insanlar tarafından bu talihsizlikleri körüklenmektedir. Hikaye bizi Suna Anıl ile de tanıştırıyor.Suna Anıl gerçekten süper bir rehabilitasyon merkezi olan Şişli Rehabilitasyon merkezi hakkında suçlamalarda bulunuyor.Merkezdeki veteriner Nejdet eski bir arkadaşımız.Şüphe götürmeksizin tanıdığımız en iyi veteriner hekimlerden biri.Anahtar-deliği genişliğinde açtığı operasyonlar ile meşhur.Bu günlerde dürüstlüğü, doğruluğu Suna Anıl tarafından test edilmekte!!!
Dün, K.C adında bir hayvan istismarcısından 2 yavru kurtarılıyor. Bir idiyot beagle köpeğini yavrulatıyor ve yavrularını onlardan kurtulmak için sorgusuz sualsiz Kemal C.’ye veriyor.
Kemal’in ilk yaptığı yavruları Mecideyeköydeki binasının arkasında demir tel bir kafese koymak oluyor.Günlerce yemek ve su vermiyor.Bu yavruların ıstırap dolu çığlıklarını duymak için Mecideyeköy’e gitmeniz ve çevreye sormanız yeterli.Bütün komşular bu vahşi davranışın farkındalar.Komşuların şikeyetçi olması üzerine, yavruların sesini engellemek için demir tel kafesin üzerine ahşap bir kılıf yapıyor, daha doğrusu duble tabut oluşturuyor!!!Tabi eziyet daha bitmiyor..Yavrulardan bir tanesi mantar hastalığına yakalanıyor, bundan kurtulmak için Kemal ne yapıyor??Belki bir çoğunuzun duyduğu, günümüzde kullanılmayan, Anadolu’nun ücra köşelerinde uygulanan ilkel bir yöntemi kullanıyor..Yavruları baştan ayağa kadar motor yağına batırıyor ve dışarıda bırakıp kurumalarını bekliyor.Ve tabi ki maalesef 2 yavruda da zehirlenme belirtileri görülüyor..

Dün, Kemal belediyeden polisin yaptığı şikayet üzerine bir telefon alıyor ve köpekler ölmek üzere oldukları için alıp yavruları bir tedavi merkezine götürmesi söyleniyor.Tabi aslında , belediye, yavruların tedavisinin acil olarak başlatılabilmesi için ,bizim yaptığımız baskılar sebebiyle arıyor Kemal’i.
Akşam Nejdet ile konuşup köpeklerin kritik durumu hakkında bilgi alıyoruz.Nejdet’e ayrıca ertesi sabah saat 8′ de barınma evinden yavruları alıp daha yoğun bakılabilecekleri bir veteriner kliniğine geçireceğimizin bilgisini veriyoruz.Daha sonraki hedefimizin tedavi bitikten sonra onları iyi ailelere sahiplendirmek olduğunu söylüyoruz.
Sabah 8′de karşılaştığımız manzara ise aslında yavruların hayatı söz konusu olmasa tam bi komedi ancak bu şartlarda sadece traji-komik!!
Bu yavruları kurtarabilmek için bu bölgede gönüllü olarak çalışan Aynur ve Suna Anıl adında iki hayvanseverden izin almamız gerektiğini öğreniyoruz!! Uzun süren tartışma ve görüşmelerden sonra Aynur hayvanları kurtarabilmemiz için onay veriyor.Ayrıca kendilerinin yuva bulamadıkları hayvanlar için yardım etmemizi istiyor.Biz, herkesin bildiği gibi, direk bir organizasyonuz.Zaman kaybetmeyiz.Hayat kurtarırız ve bunu hızlı yaparız, yoksa bazı deli kadınlar karışabilirler, bu örnekte olduğu gibi…
Suna Anıl bizim bu köpekleri kurtarmamıza engel oldu.Gerekçesi de paranoyik ve cahilce bir düşünce ile bizlerin bu hayvanları Çin’de restaurantlara ya da Almanya’da deney labaratuarlarına satacağımızı düşünmesi!!! Tabi ki bu aslında bir bahane.Gerçek şu ki, bu tip gülünç ve acınılası insanlar kendilerinden başka hayvanların iyiliği ve refahı için çalışan insanların varlığını kabul etmek istemiyorlar ve en iyisini kendilerinin bildiğini ve yaptıklarını iddia ediyorlar.
Suna Anıl , bağıra çağıra yavruları kafeste tutar ve yavruları bu işkenceci Kemal C’ye verecektir..
Beagle’lara ne olacak?Bilemiyoruz.Onları ne kadar kurtarmak istesekte, her köpeğe elimizi uzatamıyoruz.Sınırlarımızı
biliyor ve kabul ediyoruz.Ancak hastalıklı bir egoya sahip psikopat kadın Suna Anıl yüzünden bu hayvanları kurtaramamak??? Bu bizim sabır sınırlarımızın ötesinde.

Today we lived an event that fully defines the pathetic state of animal welfare in this country. The dogs of Turkey are an unlucky bunch, but their misfortunes are compounded by the fact that their supposed protectors, the animal welfare people are, in their vast majority, nothing but a group of crazed individuals driven not by compassion and merci but by a sort of obsessive compulsive behavior known as Animal Hoarding (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Animal_hoarding)
Solely motivated by their egos and their wish to exert control over life beings those supposed animal lovers end up on the totally opposite side of the fence, greatly damaging the lives of those who they were supposed to protect.. People like the Hunchback of Ciragan Caddesi, Fathma Balkanli.
And this brings us to Suna Anil, the crazy lady that calls the shots at the Sisli Belediye Rehabilitasion Merkesi.. an otherwise great place. The veterinarian there, Nejdet, is an old friend of ours, and he is, without a doubt, one of the best animal surgeons, specialized in key-hole sterilization operations. Todays Nejdet integrity was put to a great test by that crazy Suna Anil
Yesterday, and thanks to our intervention two puppies were rescued from an animal abuser, well call him K.C.. Well come back to K.C. on a different post of animal justice.
Kemal was offered two beagle puppies a week ago. Some idiot decided that it would be great to make puppies and then give them away and he gave two to this brutish maganda, KC.
The first thing this person did was to put the two puppies on a steel wire cage in an alley behind his building in Mecidiyekoy. He kept them there without food or water for days. If you have never heard the screams of agony of two beagle puppies you just have to go to Mecidiyekoy and ask around… the entire neighborhood was aware of this brutes action. Following the peoples complain he deviced a system to silence the puppies, around the steel cage he build a wooden hardcase, that is, he effectively put the two puppies on a double coffin. Of course, that was not enough for the beast.. one of the two puppies had developed a fungal infection, so what did he do to get rid of it? He did something that most of you may have heard of but never seen because it happens in the deepest corners of Anatolia… he dipped both puppies on motor oil, from head to toes.. and he left them out to dry. Of course, both puppies were inmediately down with severe symptoms of intoxication.
This is the state in which both puppies were found.
Yesterday Kemal C received a call from the Municipality asking him to please immediately take the two puppies for treatment as the police had reported they were about to die.
This only happened after WE convinced the Municipality that their intervention was essential if the life of those puppies was to be saved. In the evening we spoke to our friend Nejdet who gave us a full report on the critical condition of the puppies. We told Nejdet that the following morning we would be at the shelter at 8 o clock to rescue the puppies and take them to our veterinary clinic where they would be fully treated and from where they would be placed in good families after the treatment would be over.
What ensued at 8 o clock the following morning was worthy of a bad turkish soap opera.. laughable, if it wasnt because the lifes of the two crying puppies were at stake.
It turned out that, for us to rescue those puppies we had to ask the permission of the two animal lovers that run the place on a volunteer basis. Aynur and the despicable Suna Anil. After much discussing and negotiations Aynur gave her ok for us to rescue the animals, as others have done in countless occasions she even asked us for our help in rehoming some of the animals they are not being able to find families to. We are, and everybody knows, a direct action organization. We dont waste time. We save lifes and we do it fast.. unless some crazy woman interferes, and this is what happened here.
Suna Anil stopped us from rescuing the puppies? Why? Because this uneducated paranoiac bottom-feeder seems to be convinced that we sell dogs to Chinese restaurants and German laboratories… of course, that is the excuse. The truth is that those pathetic individuals cannot accept that there are other people working on behalf of the animals, and that they are doing it well.
So, Suna Anil kept the puppies in their cage, screaming and yelping. She will return the puppies to their torturer, Kemal C.
What will happen to those two Beagles? We don’t know. The truth is, as much as we would like to save them we cannot save every dog in Istanbul. We know and accept our limits. But not being able to rescue an animal because of the sick ego of a disturbed psychopath like Suna Anil? That is beyond our tolerance levels… and we take action.
Suna Anil is about to be given the Animal Justice Treatment.

Please call Nejdet the vet on 0532 5703236. He is the wonderful vet who is desperately trying to save the life of those puppies. We know and respect each other and he knows those puppies would have been in the best possible hands. Unfortunately sometimes courage is needed to do the right thing. Nejdet will of course confirm each and every word in this statement.
